Thank you SO much your the BEST!!
So sorry I misread your post, I thought when you mentioned you did not have your geno that you did not have the viral. Really sorry. When I was tested they did the geno and vl at the same time.
I will be more careful
Good luck
Dee
Exactly, so when choosing your insurance make sure the doctors you need to see and the hospital you need to go to are in their "network"...
I just watched a speech made by Obama, and he said they are going to be signing people up for Health Coverage, beginning on October 1st, and then
"ObamaCare" will go into affect on Jan 1st, 2014.
He directed us to a website, called health.gov, so I will investigate this further, and get back to you~
Hi I just saw this after answering your other post. I wanted to say that it is possible that you have just been exposed and your body was able to fight it off. So, like chicken pox, you will always test positive, it is possible you do not have HCV. Many doctor fail to tell the patients, first they test, if you come back positive then they have to test for geno type and vl. It is possible that you have neither. I have a friend who tested positive for HCV but then when tested for geno and vl, there was nothing
I am praying that is the case for you. Please keep in touch.
I was told here in the DC metro area that it was closer to $500. I hope they were wrong.
Best of luck, please keep in touch, Dee
Are there any government programs such as medicade in FL? You should go online and enroll in a low cost or no fee until you can purchase health insurance. You should call or contact someone online to help you get help to get this test done asap. The health plan exchange has lots of info and it is open for enrollment with lots of info available online.
Thanks for your info.. Im in Florida, and I been searching The cost online... So anything helps.. Thanks
From reading here it seems the cost run from 350.00 depending on the lab. What many have done is talked with their doctor or lab to see what kind of discount you can get by paying cash. Some has said they were able to get it for what the insurance would have had to pay.
Good luck
