The  lump in your throat can be acid reflux-I have this and it drives me crazy,,,it always feels like i have something stuck in my throat and have to clear it out. There is meds that can decrease the acid you can get some otc.try not to lay flat at night. Smoking can make it worse..Hep  c can cause gastric  problems.

I missed the drinking coffee part.  Every now and then I have to lay off the coffee for a few days and drink tea.  Also try using 2 pillows at night so you are not flat, believe it or not it helps with the night time feeling like that.

hello there. early treatments for acute infection have high success rates in achieving SVR.  Acute infection means you have been exposed to the infection for only a short time so there is no long term damage to the liver. Symptoms should go away in time and you should be back to your normal self.
Talk with your doctor if some lingering symptoms are bothering you.
Good luck!
