does that mean you are stopping tx also? is hep c still gone?
Amazing Linda! Amazing! At some point you should really chronicle your entire journey for those who weren't in on it from the beginning. Frankly, I never thought you would get this far, and please don't take that personally, because I never thought ANYONE in your position would get that far. But you did. This gives everyone hope. All the best with the transplant and the rest of your life.

This is great! A good friend of mine was on dialysis for years, though she was pretty active, but I think 4 times a week, maybe more, she had to come home, and she and her husband would have to hook her up to a dialysis macine in her home and she's be stuck there for 5 hours or so...this went on for years and years...we all asked her why wouldn't she just consider transplantation and I guess she was so very afraid of it, the devil she knew you know?
Anyway, about a year and half ago she went ahead with the transplantation, and now she's kicking herself she hadn't done it sooner, she's not married to the machine anymore! She feels so much freer, the things we all take for granted I guess....
Anyway, so glad for you, I'm sure youre soooo relieved...
It was meant to be. Good for you. From here on, things will only get better. You were meant to stick around longer, like the rest of us here. Use the power of your mind every day and tell yourself you WILL be healed.
You will be amazed what the power of the mind can do. I know what it did for me, because I'm still here to tell the story, instead of being a statistic on the obituary page of my local newspaper. Good luck...

So glad you mentioned that about the power of the mind, been dabbling in that, I should stick to it and stay with it, boy it works to help your state of mind with a disease, if not help heal!!!!
We've all seen instances of how powerful the mind is, the subconcious, etc...and heard of those instances where people who were allergic to say, strawberries or something, are told that the ice cream they are getting had strawberries in it, etc...and they end up going to the ER with all these allergic reactions, hives and restricted breathing... only to find out that the ice cream never had any strawberries in at all...
The mind is an extremely powerful tool to heal as well...there was a big Newsweek article on this awhile back, the people who were meditating, thinking positive thoughts and affirmations were doing so great with their surgeries, illnesses, etc...this is such an important factor in illnesses of all kinds...
You wonderful bunch of people, I just read the posts to my better half, crying the whole time I'm trying to read. So he ended up reading most of them to me. Thanks to all of you for the encouragement. I'm so glad I found you all. And yes I'm still on txt. but since there is no wash-out time and I'm not taking riba I will be on treatment till about Oct. Thanks again Linda
