Just as I thought will try again if not hoping and praying I become undetected in 12 weeks that's all I have to go on.

I believe you will achieve SVR.  Stay positive.

Did you have a 6 week or will you have a 8 week EOT VL test?

Even though my opinion is go with the 8 weeks.
Since you live in Quebec I don't know if some sort of Gilead Patient Assistance Programs is available to ask for the 4 additional weeks for free.

FYI to those reading here are the links to 4 former Question threads printze posted about Tx for 8 weeks vs 12 weeks with lots of replies some repeated.

Sending good thoughts your way on a positive, er, negative, well, you know what I mean, outcome to this saga

Even if not needed, it would provide such a relief to have a backup plan, right?

I wish you the best in your fight against hep C. Are you saying that you have never reached und yet? If so, that's unusual. Did you only do the 8 weeks and are fighting for 4 more weeks?

I really don't know why you are not getting 12 weeks. Maybe don't give up yet. Make your dr really fight for one more bottle. Best wishes either way. I finish my 12 weeks in 9 days. That last pill will be a happy day. Then I wait 3 months for the results!

You said that Gilead was calling the Ins Co (before the 2nd denial).  Does that mean they are involved and you may be getting the extra 4 weeks (free) from them?

I agree with all above comments especially staying positive and the power of prayer, but as I have said before, I also believe in backup and being proactive and taking a few extra meds rather than a few too few!

Hang in there, keep on keeping on!!

Blessings and prayers!

Pat
