is the leg a recomended injection site

i just did my second treatment  i was actually lookin forward to it even though i did shake violently for 45 minute s and felt like $&@* for 5 days i still went to work .i am self employed and run a shovel and climb and do all those horrible things nobody else wants to do (thats what keeps me employed)i injecterd into my leg as i was told and this time i did not shake  i even slept  friday night  but i had the same feelings as the week before  sick feeling no energy but here it is sunday and i dont feel so bad i m just hopin its workin..im at a losss  to why i didnt have the same shakin here for the long haul hope every one is feeling half decent good health  talk to u sooon

Like Dave said....injecting into fat is what's required.  If you don't have much fat on your leg and you can "pinch an inch" or so on your abdomen, that might be easier for you.  I never once injected into my leg, always my abdomen - kept it in for a 10 second count after pushing the plunger and then removed.  If you have fat on your leg and that's where you like it better, up to you as long as it's working for you.

It's normal to have the the worst reaction to the first injection.  You should inject into fat not muscle. The thighs and stomach are the most common places to do that.

It wasn't because it was your leg was the injection site.  SX vary from week to week.  I was like you my first was the worst by far.  You can look at the directions that come with the shots for more info on injection sites.
