Sofosbuvir is a DDA and Boceprevir is a PI so there are not resistance issues... So you should be good to go there. My question would be since interferon is still being used for genotype 1 is it the interferon that is the problem? Best to you

Yes Sovaldi may be used on a Protease(Inci & Vic ) relapser  as has been demeonstrated in trials   and "no" they are not similar as they attack  the virus at different locations.

Sovaldi ,as the above poster has mentioned is  currently approved with the use of Inteferon, however if one failed with  INF. already some doctors by what we have seen dicscussed here seem to be prescribing Sovaldi  w/Olysio  "off label "

Also ,it would seem that Sovaldi may be arrpoved with one of the NS5B  drugs  (currently having great result in trial) in the reltively near future.

Possiby all worthy of discussion with your physicain

good luck..
