Cost of Medicat&Possibility to stop

I started treatment almost 9 weeks ago. I bought my Ribavirin & Pegasys through Aetna insurance,
my co-pay was just $30. Now I have Medco and co-pay is $580. Can my doctor help me in any way?
Is it so bad insurance or is it normal co-payment for  this type of med.

Can I stop treatment and continue after a while? or it works like antibiotic - if you stop might not work?
Appreciate any advice

You shouldn't stop. You may be elligible for free through the pegassist program.
phone:1 877 757 6243 Tell them you are having difficulties paying for the meds.

BTW: Your doctor, preferably a heptalogist should have told you about not stopping, taking your shot the same day every week, etc.
Don't be afraid to ask or get another opinion.
