Wish you well. I am also suprised they didnt test you for your genotype along with your vira lload, thats odd.
Just keep reading, learning and know this is a great place for support.
Wish you well .
If you decide totx, good luck.
...I know Im impatient and I dont want to wait I just want to get started so it will be over with faster.......
That's exactly the way I felt. Unfortunately, with HepC, no one else seems to be in the same hurry we are, lol! My start date began as "sometime in April" to the first week of August.
As you get further into it, it's easier to stay on top of the docs to make sure you get everything you need ordered.
I say that, but last week even tho the doc ordered a VL on my daughter, the lab forgot to do it......so frustrating!!
Good luck, Snoog.....please keep us posted =)
No need to rush this tx...you have more than enuff time to prepare...the last thing you want to do is go into tx without planning...you are young and low VL...chances are you have no damage...take it one step at a time.
glad to hear your good news! You should respond very quickly with a viral load that low, and that means you may not have to treat as long if that happens, and depending on genotype. It has to have been better going in there knowing more than the average bear about your virus. It's a lot more scary to not know there's a cure, to not know what to expect. Hope you get more answers soon.

Yeah it wasnt my hep doc that did the viral load it was my norm doc and she didnt order the geno type. I made sure to take a copy of all my labs to my hep doc to make sure and she said I was missing some labs so they sent me today...I know Im impatient and I dont want to wait I just want to get started so it will be over with faster.
If they did a viral load they should have done a genotype at the same time? Are you sure your doc doesn't have that info?
