made it

I made it through the infusion today. Still not 100 percent but she said by tonight or tomorrow should be good to go. I called the Dr. Office when I got through and she said that they did a six week viral count and it said HCV NOT DECTECTED...whoooo hoooo sounds awesome to me. At four weeks it was dectected but not quantifiable now just not dectected..

honda, I hope this gives you some relief.  I cannot even imagine hemoglobin as low as 6.  I just hope it helps and then the procrit can keep it up some.

I must say I LOVE blood transfusions.  If they weren't top rec for low HGB I would want one every other week.  I felt much better after 2 units of blood, not 100% and found myself dropping rather quickly within a week of the transfusion. I went from 8 to 9.7 with a transfusion.  It got me on track since I was decimated after 12 weeks of triple therapy. I've had a riba reduction, and I can feel my HGB climbing.  Slowing increasing riba and peg.  Was able to work today and did OK.
