I have had 2 of my 3 kids tested so far for hep C.  I had the 2 younger teens tested adn they both came back negative!  I want to cry I am so happy!  I can't tell you what a relief that is!

I haven't told any of my children what is going on yet, my oldest is out of the house already and married, i will tell him after Christmas, after I get my Bx results back so i have all my information I need to give him all the answers i can...besides I want Christmas to not be about me and the hep C, just want it to be a normal day....

Anyway, very very happy about the news!!!!!!  Just wanted to share...

Oh, what a tremendous relief that must have been for you... certainly you would have handled it either way, but so great that you didn't have to!  Risk is estimated at less than 5%, so hopefully all the kids will be clear all the way around... in the meantime, rejoice and enjoy the wonderful news! :)

One of the greatest relief moments was when my two boys came back hep c neg.  Like you I can't imagine having put this on my kids and going through tx, they couldn't cope with it.  Too young and full of life.
