I checked the AHA site only to find they do not recommend taking any type of antibiotics for my type of situation./aortic stenosis/mild/. Going to take them anyway...
Take the 2000 mg as directed, all at once, 1 hour before the precedure. Those are the recommendations of the American Heart Association.
Amoxicillin is a "gentler" kind of antibiotic, and well tolerated.
It will do NO harm to your liver.....don't even think of not taking it......I take it not only for dental procedures, but for any procedure that penetrates the skin.
