I when through a neupogen regimen a few times during the 10mo course I tried TX.  Each time it was 1 shot a day for 3 consecutive days with bloodwork done a day or 2 after the third shot.  At all times my numbers returned to normal levels then slowly dropped again to lower but acceptable levels as a result of the TX meds.

Also, the pain seemed to be the worse, and more frequent at the outset of each regimen then generally subsided to being felt occassionally.

For Rose, the worst pain was the quick shooting stabbing bones aches, much like someone pinpricking your bone marrow, which I understand is similar to what leukemia paitents go through.  As I understand it, this is a result of the marrow being stimulated for white cell production.

Can you be more specific in describing the pain.

Where is it located and how long does it last?

Are you of the opinion the pain is caused by the neupogen or caused by interferon?
I do have "brain fog" from time to time and maybe I'm not exactly understanding
your question.

I had some rather bad sx when I first took neupogen.
That's why I really would like you to be more specific.
From what I think you're saying I believe your trouble is different than mine.
I don't want to confuse you by adding information that does not apply to your
situation.

Some people get bone pain and some don't.  I think procrit may be the same way.  I didn't have that side effect with either but perhaps we can hear from someone else.  It would be a good thing to know how long the pain lasts after a shot.
