Glad he is taking an active interest, again your RBC can make you really weak, a few weeks ago, I was having a hard time breathing and getting up the stairs. Not to mention the aching. The aching is WBC's.
Congratulations on graduating in June! Well done!
Do take care and let me know how tests turn out.
Deb
Dear Deb, Thank you for thinking of me, I still have fevers 101.5, my doc wants me to do tomorrow blood cultures and echo( ultrasound of my heart) to make sure I do not have endocarditis. So, I am praying for that to be negative! At the same time my doc thinks that it is still could be the drug related fevers, but he wants to exclude the worst stuff first. Everyday, I shake and hardly walk , but I try to get up , after loading myself with Tylenol, and go to work and school ( I am graduating in June) .
I thank god everyday that I have people like you who help me to deal with all my suffer.
I hope you are doing well.
Nency
.
Thought about you this weekend, I do hope your fever went down, that is to high! A cause of concern. Keep a close eye on your WBC and RBC, your cbcs will alert them. But so will your body.
muscle aches, trouble breathing, weakness, sleepiness.
Your welcome and take care of you!
Deb
Thank you very much for your support! I wish you all the best as well, and I hope at the end of this year we all will have SVR!
Sincerely,
Nency
I'm about where you are tx wise in terms of the weeks and we are on the same protocol, riba/pegasys. Rashes, fevers, sores in the mouth, nausea, headaches, and any number of side effects tend to come and go in waves for people treating. And everyone is different. Some lucky folks get few if any side effects. I apparently have an open house with punch waiting for all of them and someone put it in the town flyer...
I too had fevers at first, that went away and have come back. Just keep yourself hydrated so that you don't get dehydrated, and watch your potassium levels. Your white blood cell count is neither here nor there on a treatment based fever I wouldn't think, because its not induced by an infection. So its normal not to see a spike in your white blood cell count.
No worries nency, answering to jump you back up!
take care !
Thank you Deb for your reply!
I hope that I will have more comments from all of you who had fevers after 3month of Tx.as well!
Thank you!

I can't really answer your question as a Doc. But I will say that your Doc should be putting you on neuprogen. That is one high fever. Your wbc are made in your large bones, they fight infection, the ribo and peg came at me again with venegance around the same time, 3 month.
These drugs tear down very often your WBC and RBC.
i would question your Doc very intently concerning this.
Hope this jumps you up and someone with more knowledge can help you!
Good Luck!
