has anyone else been getting any pain in there back cos iv been getting really bad back pain along the middle of my back, help!!

My joints started doing really weird things when I started taking methadone a little over a year now. I assume its the methadone since ive tested positive for antibodies. But as long as I get up and move around im fine but while im in the bed at night, my whole body hurts, every joint I have is tight and sore. Esoecially my shoulders and my hands. Alot of time my back hurts just cause if whatever it is thats making my joints whacko. For awhile, I couldnt get out of bed fast or I would fall to the floor becasue I couldnt move my legs as fast as I was used to and id get way ahead of myself. I plan on detoxong from the methadone before I start treatment and I hope it is the methadone thats got my joints like this. My hands swell so bad in the morning. My 4 year old neice noticed it one morning and was like look at your hand, it looks weird, lol! It was one of them that was really bad because I had been working hard, painting with that hand the day before.

it seems joint and muscle pain are common sx. i have had leg, foot and hand pain but not back unless i sit too long. otc anti-inflam drugs seem to help but with care as they have liver consequences. heat packs also seem to help as did arnica. good luck, baba

Yes Suzi, I had lots of back pain.  All sorts of strange joint conditions.  For one week I could not straighten my left leg.  Hang in there it should pass.
