I went through the exact same symptoms when I stopped -- depression and fatigue.  The fatigue lasted for a couple of weeks and the depression is still an issue (but I had a pre-existing condition).  Congratulations on finishing and I hope you take extra good care of yourself during these next few weeks.  Aiuta

About 10 days after stopping tx and without warning or fanfare I just started to feel good again.

For me light and loud noises were really annoying while on tx...I remember that music started sounding good again, the family went out for a hockey game, I felt like socializing.  It took about two months for the stuff to wear off.

You'll get there.  Give it a bit more time.

Congrats on stopping.  I assume that you and UND and hoepfully will stay that way.

Mike

NICE GUY YOU MADE IT WOO HOO!

Your body is going through withdrawl from some pretty serious drugs right now....your body has been through the RINGER and is probably just absolutely exhausted from the huge fight it's been doing.

And...just maybe....you have a cold or flubug on top of it all you know?

Try to relax (gosh how many times have I said THAT to you?) I know it's not easy but for now just try to REST and get your strength back.

I have a feeling if we ever REALLY  knew just how much our bodies have been put through on these meds...we would all be shocked.

Let your body start to heal and ENJOY being DONE :)

CONGRATULATIONS I am SO very HAPPY for you being DONE and having MADE IT!

Congrats niceguy, on ending TX.

That's wonderful!

I'm not anywhere close to that, but I would think that 2 days wouldn't be enough time to determine whether or not you're gonna feel better, which i predict you will!!!

Give yourself a break!

Mikeed,

That noise thing is driving me nuts!  Just the sound of trucks or motorcycles or anything with a motor is enough to send me into riba rage.

It's one of my worse SX.

I wonder why that is?

Congratulations on finishing tx! My doc called it "Interferon Hangover". Give it a few months. The drugs will take some time to leave your system. Only advice is that if you lost a significant amount of weight, try to put it only slowly though diet, aerobic exercise, including some weight training. Otherwise the weight may come on as fat instead of muscle.

Congratulations on finishing.  It takes a while for the meds to get out of your system.  Try aloe vera.
