what r my chances?

my antibody test was positive , my pcr test was < 615 IU , my liver enzymes were normal , i know it's not over but what r my chances of clearing the virus?

looks to me like you were exposed to the hepatitis c virus at some time and your body was able to fight it off. you are one of the lucky few that is able to fight it off. you will have the antibodies for life. like the other poster said you could get a more sensitive test but I think it will be the same result and will show that you do NOT have the virus.

<615 was used for many years as the acceptable test to determine viral load.  Now, there are more sensitive tests that can measure down to <2.  

Normally, in the acute stage the viral load is high and so are the liver enzymes.  If the immune system does not fight the virus off then we are considered chronic but the viral load will usually measure in the hundred thousands or millions.  I am in the opinion that your body erradicated the virus on its own.  If you can get access to a more sensitive PCR which I feel certain will be negative that should put all doubts to rest.
