Excellent advice moopertan - whining and complaining will make you feel worse while trying to remain positive and realizing why you are doing this will certainly help you to continue on the path to success!
that is why I was grateful that I realized getting up every day and coming in to work rather than laying in bed feeling sorry for myself, helped so much. Something about trying to maintain a certain normalcy really DOES help you make it through to the end and that is the goal!
I had heard horror stories from people before i started treatment, and to be honest, i'm not sure i know what all the fuss was about. I'm 7 weeks into treatment now, and it really hasn't been all that bad. I've only missed one day of work, and that was the day after my first injection. But i guess different people are affected differently. Maybe i'm one of the lucky ones.
I don't like to give advice, but i will say this- it is imperative that you keep a positive attitude, and continue to live your life as normally as possible. Eat healthy, go for walks (or at least try and stay as physically active as possible within reason), drink plenty of water, and know what your limits are. Use mental imagery- i constantly visualize the virus being wiped out in my body. There's a lot to be said about staying positive and not feeling sorry for yourself or whining and complaining all the time.
Good luck! You can do it! :)
Nobody will be able to tell you how sick you will be during tx. Besides that, you may not feel that bad at all. You won't know until you try! good luck
Everyone is different. Some people do well others, don't. Most are in the middle from what I've seen.
