Quest vs. Labcorp - Need help please....

I know we have been over this before but can't find the thread.
I just changed insurance 6/1 and have to use Quest now (Blue Cross/Blue Shield)
I had been using Labcorp for all of tx. (I have 4 shots left)
I'm looking at my lab orders and I don't see Heptimax on it.
(If I remember right this measures down to 5)
My doc ordered the Quest HCV RNA QN PCR #35645 for EOT.
I believe that goes down to 50.

If my labcorp went down to 10 what good is this test he ordered?

Do I need to request the Heptimax since it's not on the Quest lab orders or is the one
he ordered OK for EOT? I've been UND since week 12 with labcorp. (3 log drop at week 4)
We didn't test again til week 12.

I'm really stressed here with these orders and also wondering if BC/BS or any insurance covers the Heptimax
or is it a specialized test that I have to pay for out of pocket?

Thanks in advance for (most likely) repeating an answer already posted and your help-
It's very much appreciated...

96 weeks, hat's off to you Bill!
I'm not sure I could have gone that long-
(Although we do what me must)
I hope this time you get good results and have
killed the virus for good!!

I'm doing 48 weeks (Maybe 52-doc knows I'm scared to just stop)
Heck, if I was doing 96 wks I'd be almost half way there.
Don't ya just hate us 48 weeker's whining  LOL

Yes, Enigma---It fit's me and my life too well.

We tend to develop a perverse Linus blanket/security thing with these meds; I’m coming up on the end of 96 weeks with a previous relapse under my belt. I know all to well what you’re talking about :o).

Your nom de plume 'Enigma' turned out to be appropriate, eh :o)?

Take care and good luck—

Thanks you guys.
Gonna go through the thread desrt-thanks for finding it for me.

I will call insurance Monday and see where they stand on coverage Bill.

I'm near the end, waited almost a year for this and here I am
scared to stop tx!  I'm UND while on it---
now I can truly say I understand how those feel with their EOT concerns.
If it ain't one thing, it's another.
Thanks again....

"I believe that goes down to 50.

Probably just about as good, given your previous test results.

I was given an EOT PCR of <25, when every test before and after was <2 Quantasure.

I try not to let it keep me up nights.

I can’t tell you whether or not Blue Cross/ Blue Shield will cover this specific test, but here is the order info and performance characteristics for Heptimax from Quest’s test menu:

You might call BCBS and ask if this will be covered under your specific policy.

Best to you,
