I just heard about stemtech last night, sounded to good to be true.  I found one article stating that it is blue green algee.  And the leader's main background is another network marketing co.selling algee products, and this algee just happenes to come from the lake closest to his house.  This was only one article, unchecked by me.
However I saw Dr. Oz on Oprah once and he was showing how they are taking a pigs liver, washing out existing stem cells and inserting your cells.  Then your stem cells
grow into the liver making it transplantable, to you, with much less risk of rejection.
I would really like to know where we stand today?  And how long before the Medical Community may be using it?  Also if a univeral pill would ever work. or if our cells could be harvested, treated and put into a compound that would stop or reverse
our hep c or other things.

I got the info from the link you sent. If you look through their site you can go to a page that shows a photo of the ingredient label. That is how I saw what was in them. The writing is really tiny but I was able to magnify it and read it.

Might be cheaper to just take spirulina was my point. "stem cell therapy" is somewhat of a misleading name because it is only their claim that this promotes anything beyond their coffers since the product is vitamin A and spirulina and no secret "stem cell" ingredient. They dont call it "spirulina" on the label, they call it cyanophyta extract, cyanophyta is the real name for "spirulina"

Kalio, thanks for your comments. that is what I wanted. to get other thoughts on it. Doctor has said no problem with vitimin A and my Hepc, although he said people taking anti depressants should not take excessive Vitimin A.
I read the label again and did not see anything about spirulina in it. In any event I will keep you posted how my blood tests come out in February from taking it.

If you read the label on this "stem cell" product, it contains vitamin A and Spirulina and some protein.

They claim this enhances adult stem cell growth. I don't think we are suppossed to take large amounts of vitamin A with a liver condition, you might want to check it out. Spirulina has been around a long long time, nothing new there.

I think the name "stem cell therapy" is relatively misleading.

You probably get the Vitamin A you need in a daily multi, if you want to add spirulina to your diet you can just buy it by itself.

Here is the definition of spirulina from wikipedia

"Spirulina is the common name for human and animal food supplements produced primarily from two species of cyanobacteria: Arthrospira platensis, and Arthrospira maxima. These and other Arthrospira species were once classified in the genus Spirulina. There is now agreement that they are distinct genera, and that the food species belong to Arthrospira; nonetheless, the inaccurate term "Spirulina" remains the popular name. Spirulina is cultivated around the world, and is used as a human dietary supplement, available in tablet, flake, and powder form. It is also used as a feed supplement in the aquaculture, aquarium, and poultry industries."

not sure if I am suppose to put links here or not, but at your request i I will do it.
but I do request you read carefully the data and let me know your thoughts. The video is quite interesting.
I started Dec 12, and been sleeping good, and upper right quandrant (Liver)  pain , ie, the tightness in my liver has gone away.. My enzyme levels have been elevated for years, and I have tried everything to no avail on that. My viral load been around 500,000 to 600,000 which I understand is not bad compared to many others. My biggest prayer is that this stuff brings my enzyme levels back to normal and heals my liver. Like i said I will post my new blood work in February 07 to see how it does.
I was at the stage of wanting to try anything after trying so much, but as always one must proceed with caution.  I think what i have seen so far, is good sleep and pain reduction..Now as I said I only hope new liver cells are being created. Anyway good luck.

I'm not sure if this is what Hopper is talking about but I happened across this article early this morning regarding using stem cells to regenerate a diseased liver. Interesting, huh?
