viral load

so just got a copy of my vl labs. havent talked to doc yet....
hcv rna, quantitative real time pcr    <43
hcv rna quantitative real time pcr     <1.63
hcv rna not detected

please note: the guidelines for the use of new anti-hcv therapies recommend using a test method that detects plasma viral nucleic acid levels as low as 10 IU/ml.  this assay has a lower limit of detection of 7.1 IU/ml for genotype 1 and conforms to the recommendation.  quantitation of plasma hcv nucleic acid levels below 43 IU/ml (the lower limit of quantitation for this test) may not be linear and in this circumstance are reported as "<43 IU/ml hcv rna detected"

Shayne its worth it! Dont stop and remember your goal and get there! If I could do it with vertigo and a sinus infection since week 2 you can do it!  I am cleared now (Thank you God) I know its hard but dont for one second think its not worth it my friend.  One day at a time.

Ya I just found that I had preloaded syringes but I still thought you had to push air out for any bubbles talk about feeling dumb!  These people and doctors on here help so much its incredible better then the confused staff where I go they cant even get my blood orders in the computer I watch like crazy and tell them look in the epic file! Then if its not there I have to call the doctors office to enter it I am on week 12 Friday and now I am worried they lost my viral load its not back yet but there was holiday...  Feel better Angel need anything let me know but I am not like these guys but hey can offer support wahoo keep up the good work I will never stop until its gone I actually feel so good last 8 days its scarey maybe the sinus infection made it so bad that the actual treatment will go smoother time will tell!

Great lab - yes, UND.  It could, or course be possible to harbor virus under the limit of qualification (7.1) but not really very likely.  Even the doctors sometimes misread the tests, so I understand your confusion.

good job

Congrats!!  And its kinda confusing even without brain fog.  I wish they would put in big bold letter either UNDETECTED or DETECTED to remove any doubt.  This should put a lil pep in your step to carry on.  Good luck to you.

You and I are the same! Just went and looked at mine that is good news I am worried because Friday I accidently squeezed to much out of the needle inferon I got some of it but now I am worried it will make me relapse.  See the doc Monday! I was going to ask her if I should take my shot this week a day early or something due to not getting the full dose on Friday.
