Tough it out

I'm doing round 3. I'm taking Infergen/Ribavirin.  15mcg/.5ml/1200 daily. It kicks my butt. I called my Dr office today and the Dr was out(with my lab results) Nurse said the Dr was very excited about the huge drop. I was at 2,5000,000 baseline. I can't wait to hear the news.

For many of you first timers, try to tough it out! Infergen is tough stuff but I'm still working and keeping up. Give it your best shot. Take some Ibu for the aches and pains, drink yogurt smoothies(high protein), do some peanut butter sandwiches.

I'm back and hope to post my labs soon. Either way, tough it out if you can.

Good Luck,

Wes

If your viral load is 25 million I don't blame you for wanting to go a third round.  Stick with it, more meds, for longer, you will probably beat it!!  Good Luck!

I'm doing round 3 because:

Round 1 was Peg and the virus mutated. No big deal as the Roche products were a cakewalk for me.

Round 2 was Infergen. Coventry insurance wouldn't pay. My income is too much for the Aspire Program. My Dr got some samples and cleared me. He ran out of samples so it wasn't sustained.

Round 3 started 10/16/06. Got a line on enough samples to do the job. This time I got off to a better start with more Ribavirin.

Thanks to all for your positive encouragement! Most of you know what tx is like. Your support brings tears to my eyes.

Good Luck,
Wes
