12 WEEKS UND!!!!!!!!

I just got back from my GI hep c FREE :-) from my 12 weeks of riba/interferon/incevik
So I have now join the Happy Dance Club.
My VL was UND - the low limit is <43  ( <1.63 ) "the viral load is below the limit of quantitation".

AST/SGOT is 44 H
RDW         is 15.8  H
PLT           is 125 low which has came up a great since the 8 week lab results.
and to be told that I'm at a 96% hep c free is such a blessing.
But this numbers will be change :)
Now to finished out the riba/interferon until Feb 2012
Oh my God I'm am so freaking Happy right now.... for those on you still going through this treatment please BELIEVE I can't say any more than that other then it's very hard on you and your body but at the end you will be crying happy tears.
SO KEEP THE FAITH

No No no alarms bring it on I'm learning. She sure did tell me that I was "UND" I ask hear again and got the same response with "her saying my levels where undected and below the range But I will for sure call her on Tuesday (being the office is closed on Mondays) bummer.
Those numbers are right off my lab reports. I make sure to get a copy now lol
I wish I understood them better dam I should of been a doctor :-)

I certainly don"t mean to alarm you ,however I just noticed you put in  journal you have HCV RNA 1606 ? (and asking "what does this number mean" ?

This usually represents viral load. Did your doctor say to you specifically you are UND. and possibly I am reading this wrong?

If you are not 100% sure about your result ,,my advice would be to contact the doctor immediately ,as this would have implications on your treatment.

Best of luck...

Hi Will and thank you. I sure don't recall posting a 4 and 8 weeks results as I just join here in Oct and never had any paper work from lab reports (just started gathering  pass results in the last month) hell maybe I had brain fog lol. God knows I have it from these from drugs lol But thanks to this site and all the wisdom I have learn from each of you you all have made me smarting in being more responsible for what is going on with my hep c where as before I just let my doctors deal with it other than being responsible for my med's. As far as numbers and what they mean well I'm still learning. Trusted in my GI words but now wiser.

The Best to you and all.
No bubbles bursted here :-)

Congratulations on this !  I was also wondering about the 96% your nurse told you?
I believe I recall from a previous post at your 4 week results you said you had an 80 % drop in viral load.?
Was the 4 and 12 week PCR  <43 UND.? As sometimes <43 can also mean DET.

Certainly not trying to be the bearer of any adverse news,I only mention this because of your nurses odd responses  to viral load ,and the fact that how long  treatment should last is very relevant to when UND. is achieved.

You have had a great response and good luck the rest of the way.....

Hey frijole  96% came from me asking her if she had to give a guess of where I stood from begin 100% and that was her answer.
My weeks 4 and 8 where UND as well but my numbers had greatly improved in all areas of week 12, as we all know until the treatment is complete( well for me that is) it would be having to finish out the 3 month of riba/interferon and what those results are, along with the  big one, six month later from that.
This for me is great news begin my first round of treatments with Riba/Interferon only, I relapsed so it tells the Incevik has made a great world of different .
Thank you all for the warm wishes and love.
I wish the best to you all keep fighting I know I am!!!!!

When you say 96% free at week 12, curious on what your 4 week viral load was? Hang in there, wishing you the best.

What does 96% hep free mean?  That is an odd statement.  Did you have a Quest PCR?  I am curious about the statement -"the viral load is below the limit of quantitation".   It didn't say anything about a limit of detection down to 7.1 for qualification?  I wish there was more consistency in these tests.

Congratulations on what I think is a UND.  ( I certainly don't want to burst any bubbles, it is just these tests that frustrate me.
