Whatever you do DON'T GET THE VIEKIRA PAK!!! They kept denying my husband for Harvoni too so they decided to put him on the Viekira Pak....it has totally altered his thoughts he's not the same person he used to be..he's saying after 12 yrs(and we were soooo in love before he started taking this) that he thinks he just don't want to be married anymore...doing and saying off the wall things..even moved into the spare bedroom...all our friends are like noooo y'all are the couple we look up to this has got to be the medicine...thing is he CAN'T stop taking it now cause if he does the doctor says the virus will find a way to work itself around it...and if he starts back it won't work. My BF Kim took the Rib/Savaldi and had no problem... He has lost almost 30 pounds and still losing on top of all the other stuff...he said if he'd known that this was gonna do this to him he would've NEVER started it...he usually weighs 200...now he ways 177 and losing!!! Please think twice before you start the Viekira Pak!!!!:(

Support path will help with your appeal but in most cases they are no longer providing medicine for those denied by their insurance companies for not having enough liver damage.

Gilead Limits Enrollment in its Hep C Patient Program to Pressure Insurers

I have also heard the Patient Assistance Network can help

You need to make an appeal to the insurance company. After you are turned down(you must try and then make one appeal) you can apply for assistance at www.mysupportpath.com. They have been changing some of the requirements in the past week or two, but it is worth a try if you have private insurance. If you are on a State plan such as Medicare Part D or Medicaid, they cannot help you. You might want to contact Abbvee Patient Assistance and see if they can help you get Viekira Pak, which is just as good as the Gilead products.1-844-277-6233 or www.viekira.com.
