What to expect after treatment?

We have 3 shots left and then were done with treatment. I was just wondering kind of what to expect while he's coming off. And also how common is it for the virus to come back after clearing it and usually when does it come back if it does? We just have so many questions. When will he be able to start feeling more normal again? Thanks all :)

Thank you for your advice. Yes I do believe he's been worse the last few weeks. I think just the unknown bothers him and possibly getting it back and having to go all thru this again scares him. He never really lost any hair tho thru his treatment so we were very fortunate there. He's been mainly very irritable and doesn't have much energy. I can't wait until I get my normal boyfriend back, it's been so long lol.

So glad your eot is doing well. This is such a horrible virus but I'm still very thankful that there is treatments out there available to treat it whether there hard or easy. Thank you for your experience, this forum has been such a blessing for us both.

Wow Congrats to him. Three shots left. I did feel my pretty bad my last three weeks of tx, so watch out for that. Everyone is so different in how they feel after tx. We can only offer our experiences. For me I started feeling good very soon after eot. I did get what I am calling riba rage that lasted a couple weeks. After about 2 weeks I got insomnia that lasted about two weeks and now after 2.5 months I still get insomnia but not as frequently. I don't have all of my energy back and still get tired out if I do way too much, but it is so much better than pre-treatment and during treatment. My hair stopped falling out fairly soon after eot. During treatment, I only had mild brain fog and memory issues, that have gotten better, but still feel this effect. I have no doubt it will too go away. All and all I'm really happy with my progress.

Not sure how common it is for a relapse, but when it comes back, I believe it is fairly soon after eot. Good luck to you both and wishing him a speedy recovery and thinking good thoughts for his eot vl being UND.
