That must have been fun - I think I'd prefer the Filmore - I dislike large crowds which is why I skipped Woodstock.

I saw him only once and I lived in Frisco in the summer of 68. He was everywhere in that town - The Carousel Ballroom, The Filmore, The Winterland, The Avalon Ballroom and places I can't remember. Of course, I was too busy back then to see him. I saw him at the Boston Gardens in the winter of 68. I think it was the best show I ever saw.

I saw him at Woodstock how amazing is that..........I was very little and really only remember mud and music but at least I can say I saw him! :)
