I spend winters in St Petes, gorgeous area!!
Yes, I know, I'm loving it, too. I am finally at 6:10 pm at night, Sat., able to open my windows up and get in some fresh air, after months of having to have the closed up with the A/C on. There's a great northernly breeze that's blowing through, too. Love Florida in the fall/winter. Susan400
Yes, nearby. And finally some relief from the 90's coming this weekend. Bring on the cooler weather.
lol. Some theaters are doing the dinner thing in the balcony level now. Cobb theater has whats called the Cinebistro. There's not too many around, but other theaters are probably doing the same. It a nice change for something special. Here's a link if interested.

Leather chairs? Supper? Where the heck do YOU live??? ;)
When I was done watching Contagion I had to race out and get Outbreak which I really liked. The characters were developed a bit better. Quite a cast with Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman, Don Sutherland, Kevin Spacey, Cuba Gooding. I felt I was left hanging with Contagion a little. I didn't care for how Marion Cottiard got up and took off running and never to be heard from again. What happened to that story line? Anyway, I had my own little contagion the other day when I went for a walk in the woods with friends and within an hour or two my eyelids swelled up to quite a size. I knew it had to be from contact with something because no URT symptoms. We finally put our heads together and determined it was Sweet Annie (Wormwood) which is used by the Chinese as an antimalarial but which can create a dermatitis in those susceptile to it. I had rubbed it between my fingers and then held it under my nose. It smelled so sweet that I put my face in the patch and inhaled. Oops. A cautionary tale~~
We dont even know where "Lyme disease" comes from, many infectious disease docs dont accept the tick as the cause of all of the symptoms. So what is that?
Took my wife to see where they serve you dinner just prior to eating. You sit in large leather lounge chairs, no crowding, everthing spaced out nicely. Not a movie I wanted someone sitting next to me hacking all over. And noticed as we left, no one wanted to touch the door to push it open. lol.
Interesting how the traced the origin of the pandemic back to one single event. Good movie overall. Might be a good time to invest in Purell stock. ;-)
I watched in on $4.00 Sun. movie day. That was cheap enough for me to rationalize going to the theater over the DVD.
Yes, but there is something about watching it in IMAX on a Tuesday night when there is only 4 - 8 people in the entire theatre that is . . . special. I did notice that no one was coughing before the movie started but by the end the cough reflex was working lol
I agree about waiting for the DVD to come out. There's no place like home. LoL

No, but I watched Jimmy Falon the other night.
"Watching this movie in a theatre packed with coughing mouth breathers."
Haha! I'll wait for the dvd, as I do with everything. :)
Okay well I guess I'll try to answer my own question. It seems that it may have crossed over from dogs about 500-1000 years ago.

Just saw it. Very cool. Just shows you how random it all is. What did HepC come from originally? Anyone?
Apparently, Sanjay Gupta is going to discuss the movie on Saturday and Sunday on CNN and whether it is a true story. Wonder if the will mention HepC
a wicked case of poison ivy all over her face
WTF - did she make a salad?
I'm hoping to see it soon, but will have to check to make sure my ANC levels are ok. Sure hope nobody coughs on me. lol. I'm looking forward to seeing this one.
I was going to go see it yesterday but my friend got herself a wicked case of poison ivy all over her face and didn't want to go out in public to a 'contagion' movie, can't say I blame her.......will see it next weeekend for sure.
Kate Winslet. Wonderful actress. I hope to see this movie soon. How timely!
