That is exactly what happens to me. I will have an awful night and the next day I'm so tired I literally pass out that night.
Trish:
I took ativan when I was going through the "change". It took me a couple of hours in the morning before I shook it off. Unfortunately, I had no experience with it and after about 2 months of using it someone told me I was on a very high dosage. The doc had prescribed 2 mg tablets. I not only slept, I was comatose for 8 hrs. I halved them after that and finally ended up taking half of a half which worked very well with no after effects.

So...really ... it's a common thing and it's a matter of "suck it up, buttercup" :)
I have ambien, but rarely take it, it helps me to go sleep fast but but I wake up aroound 230 anyway, then can't go back to sleep.
I tend to have one good night, one bad night, i think i get so over tired the next night i pass out.
Thanks Izzy. I don't really feel I can afford to do the trial and error thing with meds and work full-time, you know? I feel it's less of a risk for me to tough out the insomnia. I've recommended them myself to some people. Doesn't mean they work for me all that well though. We'll see how it goes. This too shall pass.
Take care and hope you're doing okay with your own treatment ride.
Trish
