Lost my job last Feb....my air cond blew up last month...$ 300 to replace....now my HDTV just blew up...another $ 300 to repair....and i cant really afford to buy a new TV,....big bucks...1000 at least...when bad luck hits me   it clobbers my hard...whats next??...maybe my bed will crask to the floor tonite or my aptment will catch in fire

and some spyware scanners are actuallly spyware...the ones i gave you are the top 1o list...just got back from the Govt training asst.centre....i applied for a good lift truck course that covers everything...crane..raymond reach...counter balance..cheery picker..sissors lift...the electic walky pump truck...now you cant even go near a lift truck unless you have a the proper papers...its a start   job prospects for that job are pretty good too...likme i said,the pay starts at 15 bucks...not too bad...i can loive on that...beats welfare and one good thing about losing my job s ...no more bully supervisors and back stabbing...this one guy was EVIL..i am serious...he went to church every sunday...but come monday he was satans little helper

Anytime....when i run my scsnners now i find nothing at all...ever.....i do love the ADAVNCE  cleaner...its got a defraggger built in as well as a regitry defragger...and its free....ive found the the protectio you have to pay for is garbage

LOL!  Ok....I don't do tap water, but I haven't gotten a shower filter yet.  Love the VCO, tho.

I am honestly shocked, Rocker.....it's like I have a totally new puter.  Fast as lightening.  Amazing.

I had 2 opearting systems on my computer...its called a dual boot setup....XP pro and VISTA  premium   i love vista now...BTW   windaws 7 is just vista improved..i say stick with vistamif you buy a new puter...if you have a slower model...stick wit XP

No if people wouls take my advice and stop drinking tap water and get a shower filter...LOL...run the programs at least a couple of times to get all the bugs

So, you're using Vista?  That has been my one hold up on buying a new computer....no one can tell me if they are down-compatable with XP.  So, I was going to try to wait for Windows 7.

How do you like Vista?

Sometimes its hard to get some programs complety off your system...macfee is another resource hog...and to norton is a virus itself...and never install toolbars,they will slow you down too...i use AVG for my virus protection ...i used to use zone alarm as my firewall but i tweaked my vista ifrewall and it works great

Yeah....I am hating it.  I keep catching it trying to add stuff to my computer....when I deleted the ask redirector it added, my troubles started.

Its safe...dont worry...ive been into puter 10 years now....you will find a lot of bugs on you system if you run those scanners...you will be in shock....most people have spyware and dpnt know it

I use Webroot spyware and Trend Micro PC. I think my problem stems from the Webroot program...just odd that it is now totally frozen under my user name and not this one.  

And both keep showing error messages.....I just want to kick this thing to the curb.  I'm gonna try that program you suggested now......wish me luck......

do you have enuff SRAM?..memory...another thing that can slow your system is having a bunch of programs running in the bottom task bar...all you should see on the bottom is your clock...firewall and virus icons..the rest you can disable and your system will run faster

Its always wise to run a few spyware scanners...some catch stuff others miss....and only have one virus protection program and one good firewall.....whats you protection??

Sounds like you have spyware running in the background...of maybe a trogan virus...run this too and see what spyware you have hidden on your system..if you have anything...this will zap it

Rocker:  I am the administrator, so I was thinking that when I log on under my name that's where I am???  I would love to add, download or do something, but it just sits there with the hourglass sign and does nothing.  I really think it's shot =(

I really want to just go get a Mac, they don't get all the viruses and stuff.

i use them all...spybot...adaware...cr..ap clearner..you name it..ive got them all...but the 'advance system cleaner does it all

did you try to log on with the administrator name?...thats the "main user" in order to make important chages you need to log on as an administrator

you make have lots of spyware running too...this will slow you down
