As far as the phlebotomist goes....remember her kindly. You'll never forget getting your SVR blood pulled now, will ya???!!!!

Every once in a while you can get a person who seriously shouldn't ever be taking anybody's blood and it does really hurt.
But when you get back that SVR report in a few days - it's all going to have been worth it in the end! :)
I learned early on to make sure that the alcohol used on the area is blown dry as that is often the cause of the most pain with the needle going in and just that bit of alcohol going in with the needle.
I usually get the whole room waving their hands to keep away the hurties!

I actually had no problems ever before,goes to show ya whats let lose on the public.
Yikes!! That sounds just awful. My first blood test, I must have had a new nurse, because I ended up with a bruise all up and down my arm. All subsequent blood draws have been a much easier experience.
Now thats a word i never would be able to pronounce.,,,they make 15-20 bucks /hr,i just googled the job info..She even had to redo one old lady because she missed a tube.I alos just found out the BOC trial im in has me sceduled for another PCR in another 6 months.This will be a year after TX.Also going for a ultra sound this month...ALL FREE
