Boceprevir Trial Finished-(36 weeks)
Well,its over,the shots and pills,except for todays remaining pill dose, wll find out now in 4 more weeks if all this stress and trouble paid off,One thing is certain tho,i was getting the real BOC because stopping at wk 36 confirms this.i was hoping to do 48 weeks but thats the way the ball bounces.

No more setting the clocks and timers 4 times a day constantly and waiting for the alarms to go off,i have one extra shot of PEG in my fridge as the back up,but my nurse says i have to return it on my next visit...i wonder if i do the shot,what will they do? they cant cut me off because im already finished ,they may refuse me the follow up PCR tests and they cost $500 each, do the shot and say i forgot??? ..well i cant take the chance it would be nice to get one last booster shot in for good luck

I wont do the back up shot,but its tempting,if i do it it will look like like im not honest and im not too good at lying and say i forgot,i bet tho they wouldnt refuse me the follow up PCR tests as this is the "money in the bank"...and they want those tests results bad
BTW...i was told that the females in the BOC trial im in have more sides that the males..the women get nausea alot
May i can black mail them.if they want my results that bad...LOL....im only kidding
Im going to celebrate right now by eating a full litre of organic vanilla ice cream with organic natural chocolate chips on top...i usually eat one every sunday as a treat,well my odds are pretty good....im guessing into the 80% range im SVR
I think the BOC trials are the only ones that go the 36 to 48 week length,,,the teleprevir trials only go 24 to 48,so looks like i got 12 more shots with the BOC trial than with the TELE
I can honestly say I was NEVER tempted to do more peg at EOT. It was all I could do to force myself to do #48!

Congrats, Rocker! I can honestly say I do not want to go 48 weeks or the 52 that they want me to. If I make 28 (the end of the PI 12 weeks), I will have gone far enough. I'm bailing out early. That Peg gives me so much trouble I have no temptations like the one you mentioned whatsoever! Anyhow, glad to hear you made the 36 without a hitch, and am wishing you SVR :) Anne

Yes, that's a great movie!! And congrats on finishing! I had one shot extra left and I did decide to do it, what a palava, and I really wish I hadn't. Spilt half of it anyway, and felt like ****! Don't do the extra, take it back in with a big grin and revel in EOT!

I would do the shot,but like my nurse says not too and i do not want to get her in trouble either,i have to respect what they have done for me.
36 weeks x 7 days = 252 days x 18 pills day =907.2 grams=exactly 2 pounds of pills i absorbed into my blood stream,
