COPEGUS Emergency

A friend and forum member who is treating (but wishes to stay anonymous) is in need of two copegus.  Long story on how why etc. etc. but if anyone has two that they can spare please PM me so we can arrange something to help this person out. I can give you a fedex number so it won't cost you anything to send them.

It's a good person - one that you all love and I'm trying to be the middle man here!

Good idea Jim - Its good thinking however the person is on a trial and I don't think had a script so to speak...just was given the pills. I'm not sure of the details exactly but I think that they don't want the study to find out that she lost two down the drain somehow if you know what I mean.

maybe though calling them and saying I had two with me to take when I went out to dinner but somehow lost the envelope with them in it might work if it doesn't somehow else.

(FLGuy they are  on the copegus which isn't any different than any of the other ribas but you know how you get so particular and nervous when you are on treatment - heck I remember when they sent me the tablets instead of the pills and I was like what these aren't little pretty pink pills what are they!!!!!!!!  dumb but it's how we tend to get)

To clarify for those new or otherwise confused :)

Copegus = Ribavirin pills
Pegasys = Peg pre-loaded syringe

In case no one responds in time -- and assuming your friend has an rx -- the local friendly pharmacist is likely to give your friend a couple xtra for the ones that got lost down the drain or however they got lost. An alternative is to call the manufacturer and explain that a couple of pills got lost. Roache was very helpful to me when a batch of Pegasys arrived warm. They replaced it.
