How are Wanda, Auryn, Maria and Nick?

Thanks for all your comments. Yes, everything that i have said on here is true its not made up. I am glad you guys all pretty much said that i didnt have a risk. When i get tested in 3 weeks ill let everyone know the results.
I'd say you were extremely low risk and I'd like to say no risk but it's impossible for someone ELSE to say 100% risk free if that's what you're looking for because none of us were inside your mouth or know all the variables, such as "IF this particular extreme scenario existed.....". So...if you're THAT worried and your doctor will test you based on the concern you've expressed here, then by all means, get it done and put your mind at rest. And educate yourself on the various means of transmission and play safe.
So then would everone agree that i had low to no risk for Hepatitus.
Itcouldntbe,,,I wouldn't worry about it...
but do you still think my risks are nil
Just kiddin. :)
Glad you're gonna have the tests done.

Im gonna have a hep b and c test done in 3 weeks. I just wanted to know if i even had a risk. What do you mean by "Don't do that anymore. (put fingers in your mouth and bite off nails, i mean)."
Don't do that anymore. (put fingers in your mouth and bite off nails, i mean).
Seriously, if you're that worried have a hep-c test.
wyn
Well thats not exactly how it happened. I found some blood on my finger and it could have been from me but it also could have been from somone else. I then put the finger in my mouth and bit off the fingernail. Thats what i am worried about.
OK, I'll give it a shot;
If it was your blood that you ingested you don't have to worry.
if you think it was someone else's blood, but in retrospect you don't think you had an open would in your skin to provide an entry point to your body, you still don't have anything to worry about.
The only way contamination could have occurred is if another player, with an open would on their skin, dripped blood on the basketball, which then entered an open wound on your body.
But if you're really worried, I'd wait a couple of months and then go for a hep-c test.
And I'd be sure to bring along a supply of bandaids whenever you play basketball again and if you notice an open cut cover it immediately
Hey, all you veterans - how was that? Do I pass HCV 101?
*LOL*

How come there isnt a risk, is it because there was not enough blood exposure?
Like I said before:
No.
Enjoy your car.
