thanks a lot, I am back on my double dose and I'm starting to notice just some tiredness, it is definitely more of a whole body exhaustion. So I am pacing overall I am doing well and I hope the same for everyone. I would say treat your body with kindness and care
Congrats Mary - it was great for you to be able to get into this trial and the results have been good so far. I have high hopes for your outcome! I would concur with Diane on the anti-depressant, don't be in too much of a rush to stop them, you're riding the euphoria of stopping treatment now but give it a bit of time. You might not deal with post EOT depression but a number of people do so hang in there a bit and ride it out, you'll be done them soon enough.
All the best, Mary!
Trish
I don't come on here often, but remember when you started tx - I'm so pleased you're through. Xmas Eve 2008 was my last riba - best Xmas every. Well done Mary, what a relief for you - congrats on getting through!!
I'm not sure that it is wise for you to cut back on your antidepressants just yet. Your body is going to go through a major adjustment just by getting off of SOC. I've been done since March and my depression actually got worse after finishing... to the point that I didn't want to be around ANYBODY. Don't make things harder on yourself by stopping too many things at once. I know you want to get to the point where you don't have to take anything, but I found out the hard way that my brain needed more time to get back to normal, and you aren't going to help it by messing up your chemistry even more.
Diane
Wow that's great and I'm happy for you!! SVR is around the corner, WTG!!
Your absolutely right "the real world" I think we forget just how intense these drugs are. I feel better first of just lessening that world revolves around the pils and shots mentality .
I still feel tired and cranky, ( I've already started redusing my antidepressant to 1 a day instead of 2
Food is already a "little" better, but the doctor said give it a month before you feel much better.
A new study next yr. will be using the PI's only no riba or interferon.
oh yeah my Gerd is already much better too......
I know I was one of the lucky ones and my prayers go out to evereyone.
love, Mary
Congratulations!! Me your transition back to the real world be a smooth journey and on to SVR
Best of Luck, good medicine, Karma,
You will all love being virus free. I know I have a ways to go for re check up etc. but I'm enjoying it now.
Congrats Mary! And you have come through twice. Hang in there working dog. I just took my 4th injection. On peg+riba+incivek. I should know something about whether or not it is working at my appointment on 07/29. (We are allowing extra time to get the labs back). We will be looking at the 4 week results but I will be on my 6th injection by then. May we all acheive SVR.

I believe I was in the first arm on all the drugs or they wouldn't have stopped me at 24. I will check into that for sure.

I am so happy for you! Congrats and cheers to SVR!
Debra
