Profile

ok...i know this is a really bizarre question...but it has been bothering me for some time. When you enter info on profile with no pic...it puts a silhouette to show male/female. In other forums...they are standard silhouettes..just an outline of man/woman...same for everybody. Here, each silhouette is different. I have shown mine to a friend, and asked, "Couldn't this very well be me?" The outline is orange and my hair is light auburn..anyway.the response from my friend was, "Absolutely". My question is...has anyone else noticed a resemblance to themselves in the cut-out silhouette? I feel like a paranoid idiot...but I have to ask. If this post gets deleted...I'm outta here. (LOL!)

Paranoid you say...there are black stealth helicopters overhead..i gotta keep a low profile...*grin*
You're
"probably" right...I just wish someone who hasn't put up a pic. would tell me they look nothing like the silhouette cut out. You and your daughter look adorable even you with 1/2 the eyebrows (LOL). Seriously, you look great and that gives us all hope that we might look ok after all is said and done.

ROFLMAO!!!

I hear the TX can make some peoples paranoid.

Just kidding...

I think there are certain types of silhouettes that are predominant in most humans (assuming you're human, of course.. LOL!)

For example there are something like only 40 different combinations of facial features around the world (I may be off with the number - but not by much). There are probably about 15 different "typical" types of hair cuts also.

So there's approximately 1 in 20 chance that yours will resemble you if they used those principles. Or something like that.

Hugs,

Meki

Yeah I thought my default profile pic gave too much away too. I just can't figure out how it knew that I look just like a rain cloud trapped inside a neon sign. So I went with a more avant garde look instead. ;-)

There are some differences, the hair is not exactly the same...meaning the crimson one.. My friend said my hair, and everything is just like a caricature of me.
I wish you would check out your own and see if it looks like you. You can always go back to your pretty parrot. I know it could be a strange coincidence....but still. It's got my curiousity piqued.

I appreciate you responding. Have you given it a try? You could just type in your nickname and then not save it if you'd rather remain incognito. Then you might let me know if you see a resemblance?  I also want to congratulate you on finishing...you have been such a wealth of info., regding health and wellness . Thanks so much for your input. Congratulations...and may God grant you SVR!

I checked through other profiles and a couple have the same silhouette as yours.  Several have a crimson outline instead of orange.  i think it's just coincidence.

Just probably a coincidence. Some people are much more observant than others.
