Drop down menu under My Medhelp missing.

I sent a pm to the moderators about the missing drop down menu and got the following reply:

Thank you for contacting us to share your feedback with us. We are continually trying to improve MedHelp and value your feedback.

As you have noticed, we made some changes to the MedHelp site and one of those changes included the removal of some of the drop-down menu options available under the My MedHelp link. At this time I do not know whether or not any of the removed menu items will be put back. One suggestion I can make is to try posting your suggestion and concerns in the Improve MedHelp Suggestions Community forum, located at:
http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Improve-MedHelp-Suggestions/show/110.

After you post please let your friends know as well, so they too can share their comments and lend support to your request to return the menu options. The people responsible for implementing new changes on MedHelp monitor this forum and will respond to your question there, and tell you when (if possible) your suggestion has been completed.

Maybe I'm getting old but it seems more complicated but I'm sure after I get used to it, well, it won't seem as difficult, I hope.

Hi everyone -

I'm sorry you were told this, incorrectly. We made this change in Feb., and do not have plans to bring this back.

You might try leaving your profile page open in one tab, and using your communities list to open your communities and groups in new tabs. Alternatively, you could use the Related Communities widget in the sidebar on the right side of the page in your communities, or bookmark them. Most browsers also have a "Most Visited" tab as well, if these are places you visit a lot.

As hepcandme said, this shouldn't add that much extra time to go between communities, but if anyone needs any assistance, let me know.

I've already addressed this here - http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Improve-MedHelp-Suggestions/drop-down-menu-gone/show/2537993 - so no need to post about it to support orphanedhawk, though I'm sure she appreciates it. Just shoot me a PM with any questions.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Emily

Thanks Hawk

I received the same message several months ago. If it's not broke, don't fix it, was what I was thinking at the time

Still, loved that little drop down menu that was "mine"

And now I have to spend an extra 10 seconds each time I want to toggle back and forth between forums. Oh, the horror!

hehe
