That is simply not true at all!! Besides, chemotherapy is different than SOC for HepC. Some chemotherapy treatments are radiation and can burn the skin, that could be what you're talking about. The only likeness between chemotherapy and HepC tx is that some treatments use interferon. I'm sorry to hear that everything bother's you but regular ppl without HepC have days like that as well. You may want to see your doctor about depression as covered above. I appreciate your question but the text makes it difficult to read, just a heads up.
I have never heard that you can only do Hep C tx three times in your life. In fact I have read posts on this forum from people who have done tx 4 times, and maybe more. But I don't think there is much point in starting tx if you aren't willing to give it your very best effort of taking the medications on time and finishing the treatment. Otherwise you are putting strong toxic drugs in your system for no purpose. Why feel that bad for months if you don't intend to kill the virus?
Do you think you might be depressed? When I was diagnosed I went through that down all the time feeling. It was a shocking diagnosis. Within a year I had to treat because I hope to get this behind me. I can't even imagine having this hanging over my head for twelve years. Ask your doctor if you think part of your problem could be depression. Antidepressants will help. Many people have to use them for this treatment. Then, when you have a better attitude, start treatment and finish it!!!
Apparently you didn't do much research about HCV during the time your were on treatment, or you surely wouldn't have quit after doing it for almost a year, no matter how bad you felt. Totally getting rid of the virus is the only way to get rid of the virus, and as long as the virus is in your body, it is going to keep doing damage.
Did you at least have a viral load done before you stopped your meds?
You don't need to get back on the meds unless you are willing to take it as prescribed for the entire time because you will just be wasting your money or someone else's.

I got mine in 2005, just started SOC. My eyes r always tired. I can sleep 12 hours, be up for 3 and need a nap. Seems like over the years the tiredness got worse. Especially now on SOC.
