Eyelashes

This is very odd. Woke up looked in mirror put on mascara. My eyelashes are so long and each lash is going in a different direction?? I look crazy in the lash dept. Whats up with this? I know this is the least of it all but just wondering? My eyelashes look like there almost an inch long and all crooked?

I had to have my eye lashes cut. They crushed up against my glasses and made driving even more of a hazard.  They seemed to appear alongside the walrus like nose hairs.

I had the lashes for a little while...gone now.
I just listened to that lama lash blog......OMG...it is so on the money. I decided to send to one of my sisters. I just want someone in my family to have a clue.........'cause they don't or they won't or.....the old Irish adage, "You made your bed"....philosophy. (Though I DID HAVE TWO TRANSFUSIONS BEFORE 1992...lol) Or maybe just denial.....
When I listen or read about others txing with a whole lotta love goin on.....it makes me  weep....and ask God...............why, do i have to do this without physical human support? He tells me all I need is Him.
I know it's true but sometimes the pity party gets the better of me.....and so does this tx.

The lashes are one of the few perks of tx. Mine grew really long and curled upward.I was pretty excited about that, mine are so straight normally.

The other perk, for me, was no underarm perspiration. I could sweat buckets with hot flashes and night sweats, but my pits remained dry.
It's the little things....

Aquila, mine just fell out, like my hair on top. I asked Wyntre once if her carpet matched the drapes trying to find out if that hair loss happened to others, but she didn't get it at the time.

No fair!!!!  I've heard about this happening but mine didn't grow...They just broke off and were always stabbing me in the eyes.    What's wierd though is my hair. It used to be very curly and now is straight as a board. I've been off tx for 7 months now and thought it would eventually grow curly again but still straight.....

that's first and only positive thing I have heard about the tx...of course except the possibility of svr....!!!

don't want to say I told you so....I talked about this in a thread and Sfbaygirl was a big Doubting Thomas...I TOLD YOU I HEARD OF THIS PHENOMENON! lol...and I'm counting on it to happen, cause i have eyelashes of a bird now, which is practically none...! thanks Charm for pointing this out...I would love to have long eyelashes again, maybe the only good thing to come from this stinky stuff! except an svr...forgot about that! lol....

Bill, thanls for letting me in on this. When I looked in the mirror I was so taken back I couldnt believe these lashes!! There better than Maybelline lashes but eash lash is going in the wrong direction??? Strange.........

JD- Weird indeed crooked long lashes! Sorta funny I guess. Dont have a pasty face yet and Im going on week 19 wonder if I will get it.

My hair is weird too fly away and going every which way too.
And the weirdness continues..........If I possible have a good chance at SVR I honestly dont care if I turn into a Llama I will be happy to do so!!  I'll be anything!! lol

My eyebrows are outta control, lashes unchanged.  With the pasty face and the Bozo the Clown hairline I am one frightening looking woman!

LOL, “TatorTot” in here used to say that she couldn’t even wear her sunglasses during treatment because her lashes were so long, they’d rub against the lenses. I, on the other hand, have grown some eyebrows that would make Andy Rooney jealous :o). Wanna trade Llama’s for Rooney’s :o)?

That is sooo weird, bcoz my daughter just told me the other day that I had really long eyelashes and I didn't pay her any mind.  I am going to have to check them out to see if they are longer now...

Ditto me to my old friend Val Mrs. O.  I loved having those long lush lashes but yup they are long gone now - why oh why didn't they stay????

I tell you though I'm glad it worked out that my hair grew back rather than being able to keep the llama lashes.......I would have liked to have both but alas, it's just so great having real hair again finally!

It was the weirdest thing.  I lost most of my hair, lost my eyebrows, didn't grow any body hair during treatment - but my eyelashes were incredibly gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

Lasted till about 6 months after tx then they went back to being normal length.  They're still long with mascara, but there's something about tx that makes them look incredible.

If you're having directional problems pick up an eyelash curler at the drugstore.  Works wonders.
