Expert Forum fee

I just noticed that there is a fee for asking a question to the Dr. in the expert forum.  When I started here, that was not the case.  Is this new?  Or, does everyone get a "free" trial period?

I just pick up the phone and make an appointment with my doc who I trust 100%.  After years and years finally found, by sheer happenstance, the best doctor I've ever had. As far as I'm concerned, he's the final word till he says he's not and sends me to a specialist. ( which he has ).  $23 advice is worth just that.

imho

which interperetes to everything has a price tag. Or it would be welfare.
The docs paid for their knowledge.
so it didn't start with them.

Yeah I heard it's $23.00, but it could be a sliding scale.  For some of the other illnesses there is no charge.  Seems a bit discriminatory, however ppl were asking the same questions over and over again and I could see how it could become time consuming.  Maybe if they would have added a FAQ section it could have eliminated the questions being duplicated, but I doubt it.  It's really something that if you have a broken nose then you can get an answer to your question for free, but if you have HepC then you have to pay thru the nose.lol  Not to sound unappreciative Med Help is the bomb and they did start the free section in the beginning, it just wasn't working out for whatever reason.  good luck
