PainterLady,
What is your insurances "max of out of pocket"? Or do you have one. Sometimes 20% is a moot point if you exceed your max out of pocket. Mine is $1000 (one thousand) so I know that is what it is going to cost me for the whole year. Also, if you have temp or long term disability insurance you need to read their "pre-existing condition" clause. That means if you change, you won't have the grace period. Hope I'm not too far off on this advice.
Did you approach the doc. wth you concerns? Heck ~ I would turn them inside out
to make sure I had the assurance and info...thats what they're there for & after all
they need some viable reason to get paid & be able to afford their beemers.
Thank you all for your response. I too believe it was good news. And Kathy I think you are right since they screwed up the last they prob did the cheapest. And next test I am requesting the heptimax. And BTW I sure am glad that I did TX last year ather then this coming one cause they are changing the Ins again and I'd have to pay 20% of all of it. 07's pharmacy bill was over $30,000 not including all the labs and appts.
Elaine and Adie -- Hope the weather in Sac stays nice next week cause I'll be there Sunday!!!!! wooo hooo can't wait

I think you are good to go. If the virus had returned, it would far surpass 615 by 3 months post, so I would not worry about it. I wonder if they did the cheap test because they ran the wrong test before and had to pay for this one themselves.
At any rate, I think you can celebrate. It is looking very good.
Kathy
That's GREAT news. Congrats. If people relapse it is usually early (in the first 2-3 mos.), that's why the hepatologist told me.
God bless.
Adie
I think it's fantastic that you're still UND, even if it is at the <615 level.
But I would INSIST on the more sensitive test for the 6 month post TX PCR, even if it meant paying out of pocket for it.
