Time catches up to all of us.....just an FYI in case anybody was planning to go. He must be in pretty sad shape. Don't know if he's treating currently or is getting worse.

NEW YORK - The Allman Brothers Band has canceled its annual run of performances at the Beacon Theatre as founding member Gregg Allman continues to recover from hepatitis C.
The band had been scheduled to play 15 sold-out shows at the Beacon — an annual run of concerts that draws people from all over the country who pay several hundred dollars for tickets to see the blues-rock legends.
The band usually plays in March but previously said it was postponing those shows until the fall while Allman recovered from hepatitis C, a blood-borne disease that can lead to cirrhosis of the liver or liver cancer.
On Friday, the Allman Brothers Band announced on its Web site that the shows would be rescheduled for early 2009, the 40th anniversary of its founding.
“New York’s a second home to us,” Allman, 60, said in a statement. “We love playing there and are as disappointed as anybody not to be able to get there this time.”

Eventually they will all have to come out of the woodworks, won't they? If he says he is "recovering" from hep C, he must be treating, yes?? Hope he goes public with it. Sorry he is having a bad time, but at least he says recovering, not dieing from.

Well yes I was a child when the HC song came out but unfortunately not when they Clash got famous.........we listened to that CD so many times (I guess it was a tape back then) oh my God. I can remember being in clubs dancing dancing dancing to it....

yOU OPEN THE CARD AND IT SAYS, hA hA, tHIS WAS A TRICK QUESTION, tHERE'S NO SUCH thing as too much Easter candy! And the son it sang..............

It's sooo cool when stuff like that works out. My Br.-I-L, it a total Penut M&M junkie, He doesn't drink, smoke or take any drugs not prescribed to him.
I got him 2 of the 46oz. Bags of them, while I was there, and he hid 'em so my sister, who's dieting wouldn't find 'em, (or maybe he just didn't wanna share?

Sort of like having Alzheimers ..see I couldnt pt this altogether in one post. I had to be mentallly slow and type another post I dont know who I am right now and the thoughts definitely do not come together the way I would like, but can remember ever word to every song.
