That was a cute one.. Yes my name is pronounced the same way, and I am told that I spell wrong , say it wrong.. but I did not name myself. When I was about 5 we moved from NYC to FL.. When I started school.. I told them my name.. and they called me Dayna. I said no its Danna. sp Dana they still called me Dayna.. then I started saying Dayna.. one day my dad called and I answered the phone and says who is this.. I said Dayna.. he says.. no I must have the wrong number.. my daughters name is Danna.. I said. .no its me... he says why did you say Dayna.. ??? I said because thats what everyone else calls me.. He says no.. its time to teach you the Name Game... Dana Dana Banana.. So from that point on.. I would say.. Its Dana like Banana.. That was fine till I got in HS>. then it was like Rosanna Dana.. LOL But I still get called Dayna too.. so .... Oh well....
