Thanks for all your posts.
I can say that during my first 12 weeks, the first 6 for better than the second 6 but I got an ear and throat infection with two rounds of meds and I thought I was gonna die. But I went to work every day.
Newbies....you must hang in there, don't get dehydrated, drink gallons of water, get a sleeping pill from the dr, try to exercise just a little bit. Do not let yourself get depressed and lie in bed all day or this will be a long long treatment.
Week 13 and certainly has been a bumpy ride and it seems to go on forever.
Here's to a good week.
Hassan, hope your lab gets better.
When i started TX 50 weeks ago, the pharmacist who trained me in proper injection technique did tell me that small percentage of the patients he follows actually do feel better on TX.
Unfortunately, I'm not among them.

I am happy to read your message, it is really encouraging, I am week 6 now, before I start I read a lot about expected side effects of tx, however, untill now I am feeling even better! may be was tired the first week, but after that I am doing well, and doing my job, nobody of colleagues and friends noted anything!
Once I started the tx, I put in mined that this is a "game" with the "old friend" virus, my coach is my doctor, you, nice friends here, are the supporters, with tx I feel better hoping to "win the game" although my 4 weeks pcr was still detected (17,851 down from 4,450,000 iu)!
Tx is not that bad
Keep feeling good
Hassan
what a shower can do for 'shaking it off' and feeling better awhile.
I take 10 a day now! (lol, kidding, need to tho!)

LMAO You're too funny!! LOL
(can you tell I'm back on the computer this week??!!)
We're pretty close in tx in all this. I was also negative week 4 and get my 12 week labs in 10 days.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU! And to us both reaching SVR.

--------------------Thats great that you are doing well. Once you hit the 12 week as a geno2, it really does fly by very quickly.-----------------------------------------
I soooooo needed to hear that today! Say it's true, please, please, please!
Found my 1st wad of hair on the pillow today (but after a 'fun' evening, lol. So hoping all the loose ones fell out at once :} And having an 'OMIGOD am I ever going to feel normal again morning' (days!) so glad to see that post.
P.S. NOT whining :} Just talkin' !

So true. Doing exactly as you said and than 'up' to get a few task done. Amazing what a shower can do for 'shaking it off' and feeling better awhile.
I take 10 a day now! (lol, kidding, need to tho!)
( like the name. My closest friend of years passed away at 40 last year, she'd called me that 'nickname' for years, long story but seeing your 'name' brought her to mind.)

--------------"Anybody get tired of going to a small party, Spurs game, Mexican restaurant, and watching EVERYBODY drink?"---------------------------------------------
LMAO! Oh yes, all the time. Luckily, on tx even the smell sickens me, so not wanting one. Funny how different it is to WATCH people with a buzz when your not getting one :}
Good for you on working and getting out, yoga class! I do yoga at home and can barely make myself
do it and I have MANY in bed days! Have you had to have any rescue drugs? Whats your tx ? I'm in a trial (no rescue drugs) and was dose reduced in week 5 becuase of hgb, than wbc's down now and so on. Your making me (same Geno, 2b-24 weeks, in 11th week ) look really bad here woman!! I am out of the physical part of work since week 4 and working some at home. Do keep myself busy at home, but.......up an hour, down 2 and so on. What are you doing 'right' here ???
LL
I also believe that pushing yourself to get in the shower in the morning is the best thing any of us can do. (Even if you are not working) If you can't breath (SOB) take a luke warm shower and make it a quickie!. Wash, quick, no shaving legs and pits, (For the gals) and wash your hair. If you've washed it the day before then just do a quick condition (No shampoo) and rinse. Dry off lightly and make your way back to your bed but don't lie down! Sit on the side and start using your lotions and deoderant and put on some clean clothes. You WILL feel more alive and have a little more sense of well being. I know it is hard to move when your legs and body don't want to, but just push yourself, it will be worth it.
Now that you are all ready for your day (and maybe you don't have to work) go to the grocery store and buy a few things--Easy stuff to make. Or maybe go to the library and find a good book to read.
Rent a movie you haven't seen, or just go to get a bite to eat at the diner, or your favorite hole in the wall. I hope it makes your day a bit better....

I was also very fortunate at four weeks to be considered "negative" with my labwork according to the hep dr which he states is wonderful. Go for the 12 week lab on Monday.
I was just posting this today to let people know especially newbies that not everybody is doing rotten, that I work 40 plus a week in a strenous job, and there have been a few challenging weeks but I haven't lost my hair or mind and none of my coworkers or boss know. None of their business.
good for you! Glad your are handling your sx well. Good Luck and keep drinking water.

Congrats on hitting the halfway mark!!
I hit a bit of a milestone myself today...remember the medications 80/80 rule...by my calcs as a 72 weeker, midweek of #58 should qualify me as being tx compliant for the full 72..... (lol)
shame I don't believe in the 80/80 rule.....;^) Pro
Thats great that you are doing well. Once you hit the 12 week as a geno2, it really does fly by very quickly.
