Few simple questions

I was told NO herbs on tx. I do a lot of herb tea and JUST thought of that!
Think they count much?

Biotin....was doing it for hair than someone posted it's hard on the liver.
True, not true, maybe?

What the h*ll does cause the leg, mucsle pain? Been told no autoimmune disease's.
WHAT is it from, caused by?
And I mean before and during tx. They'll say the meds cause it, I'll say had it before, no real answer!

WHERE are my car keys and my cup of coffee?  :}

Thanks,
LL

You might be lacking in potasium.  Try drinking gatorade or eating a banana.  When I treated and would drink too much water I would get terrible leg pain.  I finally called the Be-in-Charge Nurse and that is what she told me so I drank a glass of gatorade and sure enough the pain went away.  I didn't think that you could drink too much water during tx, but she said that you could.

Might be something else, but ya never know.  Good luck.

I didn't do many herbs while on tx but afterwards started my greentea FUZE that has alot of herbs . I love the stuff and constantly sell out he stores when they stock it:) I believe we need to flush out our bodies and keep hydrated so I think your safe with moderate dosing....best of luck :) shelly

I had heard a thing on TV or in a magazine, or something about the Earl Gray tea causes leg cramps in some people-I guess there's some sort of additive that they put in it??  Maybe you aren't even drinking Earl Gray and that is not it.  Also, if you're drinking TOO much water, they it can upset the electrolyte balance in your system and that could also cause leg cramps.  It is hard to say.  I don't do herbs, but I know when I was in the study for the Prove 3, I wasn't allowed any herb at all including milk thistle, fish oil, etc.  I've also heard before that calcium added to the diet in the form of a vitamin can at times, interfere with the meds, but since you're already undetected, that wouldn't seem to be an issue for you.   I know, maybe you sat on your keys and it's making your legs hurt!!   :)

I wish I could be more helpful, you will make it through..

You sound like me - figuring out there could be a problem when you're almost finished with tX!  *LOL*

I take an herbal colon cleanse product and my PCP insisted on checking the label in case there were any problems.

I know there are SOME herbs that shouldn't be taken while on TX but i don't know what they are.  If you do a google search you'll get a list.

Unless your 'herb tea' is something Rxd by your local acupuncturist, it's doubtful it'll affect your tx one way or the other.

Don't know anything about biotin.

Your keys are with your coffee.
