I'm Back!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know I survived the move, and now that I'm back online, I'll be popping in again.

I just did shot 24, 48 more to go.

I hope everyone is doing as well as possible with TX and my thanks to all for having helped me get through the past six months.

Wyntre

Tell your daughter congratulations!! I was at first scared about teaching math, even to fifth graders. I hadn't taught math since I was a LA/Soc Stu teacher for 9 years. (Before that Pre K, 2nd and 3rd grade) We became self contained so I started teaching math 2 years ago....and love it!! Helped me get over my fear of math!
I know your daughter will love it too. It takes a knack to teach middle school kids, but once they know you're not putting up with their little games and that you care about them.....your daughter will have them eating out of her hand!!
I always have them come back and visit years later. At the end of school I had a junior in college come back to tell me he's entering med school. I was so proud of him!

I know she's excited, and tell her congrats again!! I'll keep you posted about my hubby's progress. I'm both excited and scared!!!!!!

So good to see your post. Can't wait to share the good news when he gets his 4 week pcr. The summer is the best reason to go into teaching! My daughter just graduated as a middle school math teacher, starts her first job in Aug.
Hugs,

It's been exactly one month since the last riba, and 5 weeks since the last shot.
He's feeling better on a daily basis! Slow, but steady.
His increase in energy level was the first thing we noticed. He has pent up energy and is wanting to get out and do all the things he couldn't do while treating.
His brain fog is lifting and he's finding it easier to keep up with record keeping, bookwork, all the things he likes LEAST about his business.
But the difference is he can do these things faster now and doesn't have to focus so hard.
Again, it's slow, but getting better all the time. His rash is also clearing up...he had red bumps on his face and top of his head which were driving him crazy. Not gone yet, but better!

I'm out for the summer!!!!!!!!! It's great getting to sleep in..I've been lazy and just hanging out at the house taking things slow. Finding time to do some of the things I put off during the school year, organizing, filing papers, etc. etc.!

Our youngest son is home from college, and it's been great having him home. He's working like crazy...for his dad during the day and at a restaurant at night! Our oldest son is married, so we don't see him nearly as much as we want to! We're going to go up to Oklahoma City and camp out at there house for at least a week sometime this summer!

We're waiting the results of Greyson's 4 week test. I'll let you know when we get the results back!!
