Do you feel guilty?

Is anyone else struggling with the guilt of not being able to maintain previous standards of performance at work? I have informed coworkers that I have started new triple therapy, so they will understand what I am dealing with. I am trying to maintain same performance levels dispite the roller coaster ride of side effects. Somedays I am fine while others are a real struggle. I am a department manager with six employees. Lots of stress and daily fires to put out. I am failing to cope emotionally and that makes me feel unprofessional. I would like to not be working but that does not seem like a possibility.

I agree. Kudos for what you ARE accomplishing, not what you are not. In time, this too shall pass and you will be better than you were before you started treatment. I promise.

Yes I struggled with guilt when I treated in 2008, I could not keep up and felt a lot of guilt.  I was only able to work 6 hours a day 4 days a week, if I was lucky.  I admire you for continuing to work.  I took my shot on Friday so I could go in on Monday or most of the time Tuesday.
Good luck to you

Maintaining a full time job while on tx is a major accomplishment in itself.  Don't beat yourself up for not performing up to full capacity since you aren't firing on all cylinders every day.  Try to remind yourself this will only be temporary and you need to do this to rid yourself of HCV, then hopefully onto a normal life.  You should have no guilt, but instead, great pride in taking on this challenge to get to SVR.  Hopefully, your coworkers will understand.  Good luck.
