I haven't been here alot, I'm Shannon from Washington, so I hope a few of you remember me. I'm the one who's Mom passed away last Feb and I was too ill to travel and missed her funeral. I thought that would be the low point of my tx (now on week 29) but noooooooooooooooooo
A week ago Sunday night, Gary and I went to bed, I woke up at 2am to pee and the next thing I knew I was laying out in the middle of my bedroom floor having broken my hip! OMG.......long L O N G story for another time, but want every one to know that I'm home (not a nursing home as I had been "threatened") I am doing well, started walking 12 hours after surgery, so am quite mobile, with walker, and with the transfusions and platelets I feel more like myself than I have in months.
Did not have to change TX at all, thank God for my quite aggressive Doc* Love that man.
Anyone else having gone through surgery during tx?
Glad to be back.....
Hugs,
Shannon
