Is posting a lot of questions a good thing?

I think at times it can be good thing and then again sometimes it can be rather annoying.
I'm curious - what do you think?

From the timing of your throw-away answers in his posts and the timing of this post, it's easy to see why you're asking this.  Cut the kid some slack.  He's young. Maybe newly diagnosed.  Everybody is different.  Maybe the question is more why are some people so easily annoyed?

I've been coming to this site for years and only recently posted my 1st question. At least I think it was my 1st (still foggy after all these years LOL). I guess I feared being considered stupid, but now I realize that NOT asking was stupid.
BTW, it was posts by you, Jim and Frank J that motivated me to initially join this group back in '05. For that, and all the good info I have gained from you and nearly everyone else, I am truly grateful.

Sometimes I wonder if people know how to do a search although that can drive a person nuts.
On the other hand, the only stupid/bad question, is the one not asked.
And then there are those of us with fuzzy brains.

You can always ignore any you don't feel like answering. That's the freedom of the internet ( or is that an oxymoron?)

Yes it is important important important to post all the questions you can.  In this way you can get many stars and give many best answerereres responses!

Ah for the olden days when you could only start what? three threads in six months.......you had to make those threads COUNT dammit and cram all your questions into one thread (which made it easier to keep track of the answers anyways if you think about it).

Darn I wish I could have gotten the best answererer green light for this one (but mostly I hang out under red lights anyhow ;)

I've always thought that the indexing of threads could stand some imporvement.  That way, posts of a feather could flock together in threads to maintain a little more consistency of subject and reduce the volume of threads which get buried within a day anyway

Questions are sort of like sperm.
Millions of them occur spontaneously on a daily basis, and they're just out there swimming around.  Usually only one or two result in a productive conceptus.

Comeagain- I liked that.

Mike-
I think it is a good thing to ask questions if a person is open to considering the answers. Not that one has to agree, but that they are open to learning or to the fact that their may be another perspective then theirs that is valid.

Asking questions repeatedly until a person gets the answer they want is in my opinion quite annoying.
