Last shot

I just took my last shot this morning.  When I put the needle in the sharp container and pressed the permanent seal - the sound of that click was music to my ears! Each time I treated, I felt as if some piece of me was permanently removed.  This time was the hardest for me; I don't know if it is age, Telaprevir or both.

I hope to spend some time in a quiet place, hiking and just relaxing for a week.  Then - who knows - it's time to get a life!

Eric

"i was tested for everything i was worth"
"i passed the test" (again)

hey warrior god, can you relate to that?
your multiple rounds have taken you far beyond a doctorate. what does it feel like?
should we call you "superman" now? or how about "nobel prize winner"
hopefully, this war has taught us all things that we could never learn any other way.
im so glad you were able to waltz right through it. (Yikes!!!!!)

remember the horrible post i made a long time ago about spoofing and spam?
your advice convinced me to let it go. thanks.
its surely been one wild adventure around here.
like geterdone said, we may put our weapons down
but we will never forget the experience.

im on my last shot tonight as well, its only a 10% dose.
strangely, these smaller doses still make me pretty sick.
the worst is over. time to recover now.
WOOOOOOOOO  HOOOOOOOOOO

this time, when someone tells us to go jump in a lake
we probably will!!!!!!

I wish you the best. The last shot! I certainly now can relate to the last click of the needle into the Sharps container. I have read your posts and know what a warrior you have been and how much you've been thru.
I pray for you.
Enjoy your life now.

That sounds like a plan! Congratulations, you have accomplished so much even during this tx...I mean it. I barely leave my apt, and you have travelled all over the place and helped take care of your mother-in-law. You are amazing. I wish you only the very best...and I pray you will soon hear the words Sustained Viral Response!
Cheers to you, Eric!

Big Hug
