Post TX are you feeling better??

Wondering how many people who have cleared with triple therapy are feeling better and how long did it take you to feel better. I can say for me I'm off 7 months now and have good days but the bad days are bad. Wondering who do we turn to after tx it seems to me all my complaints fall on deaf ears. I've cleared and that seems to be all that matters but the anxiety is always there with stomach problems , nausea, lower abdominal pain and the fatigue and appetite comes and goes. Depression is always an underlying factor. Numbness and nerve tingling comes and goes. Will this get better and why won't doctors acknowledge that we may have cleared the virus and I'm thankful for that but qualify of life is very important. I think they should address this with us more. I feel so lost after treatment, like congratulations you're well but I don't feel as well as I would like to feel. All my doctor said was some people feel well right away and others up to a year. I feel like all I go to him for is for MRI's to watch the liver and blood work now and all other complaints are ignored. Is this what most are finding.Should we be satisfied with that.

No  I did 24 weeks. I was suppose to do 48 but got very sick around the 22nd week, made it to 24 and stopped. It's a hard treatment. I'm very glad I stopped at 24 weeks. My body and mind were gone by 24 weeks. I never could have made one more day. .

You might ask for your vitamin B to be tested.  I do know some folks who had a rough time post tx including neuropathy who felt much better after taking care of this deficiency.

I am glad to see you are SVR.  You quit after 22 weeks, right?

I am almost done and just hate to see these posts about this not being over when it is over.

Hi, your doctor is right, some people get better in a couple of months, others take longer.  I think I am getting a little better every day
I am having immune issues like Jasmine however I do believe it will get better both mentally and physically.  For me, it has been 5 months since finishing tx.  I think it will be a little longer for me to feel better
Hang in there, I would give it a year.

Hi streamline,  I am feeling better.  I think it took 5 months to it the 99%.  Still have problems with Immunity but think the brain has recovered.

I started doing self lymphatic massage  post tx.  I have been doing yoga.  I also got a few therapeutic massages.  Collectivly I think this helped.  Especially the massage.

Be well.
