New Acronym - FNG

New acronym.  Let me know what you think ... I started tx on Jan 11, 2008 and am new to this forum and it is so great.  I was reading a post from Orphanedhawk regarding a post I posted (haha) about my attitude and thought of it ... As I am new to this forum I am an FNG  -  Forum New Guy.  It works for a girl too.  FNG -  Forum New Girl ... interesting, no ?  Not an insult by any means.  Orphanedhawk mentioned that people that have gone through tx should held newbies.  I am surely grateful for the experience in this forum and cannot wait until I can help an FNG.  If you are familiar with the old acronym FNG ... I believe this is a pleasant twist.  Comments ?

FNG will probably work here...Be just to be forewarned...In other circles (like fire service, EMS, etc.) FNG stands for Fu**ing New Guy...LOL...Maybe NTF? (New to Forum) Not as cute, though...:)

That is cute,  but dang there already are so many acronyms! You must be military or ex military!
That is one of the reasons I luv ya Deb,    you always show compassion and help new folks.   You were one of the first to greet me.

You won't believe how quickly you won't be the FNG anymore (cute!) and all of a sudden your considered an old timer. My God...it went by so FAST I still can't believe it.

and you are right it IS the way - as long as their are FNGs there needs to be FOGs (forum old guys)...I was so helped when I first came here I could never just walk away now and not at least TRY to help others too.
